Vivoin is a municipality with 948 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France . It is located in the department of Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire . Vivoin belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Sillé-le-Guillaume (until 2015: canton of Beaumont-sur-Sarthe ). The inhabitants are called Vivoinais . It is an access community associated with the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park .

Vivoin is located about 25 kilometers north-northwest of Le Mans . Vivoin is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chérancé in the north, Doucelles in the northeast, Meurcé in the east, Lucé-sous-Ballon in the southeast, Maresché in the south, Beaumont-sur-Sarthe and Juillé in the west and Piacé in the northwest.
The A28 autoroute runs through the municipality .
