Fatines is a French municipality with 845 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Savigné-l'Évêque (until 2015: canton of Montfort-le-Gesnois ). The inhabitants are called Fatinois .

Fatines is about eleven kilometers east-northeast of Le Mans . Fatines is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Corneille in the north, Saint-Mars-la-Brière in the east and south-east, Champagné in the south and Yvré-l'Évêque in the west and south-west.
