Mezieres-sous-Lavardin is a French municipality with 695 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Loué (until 2015: canton of Conlie ). The inhabitants are called Mézièrois .

Mézières-sous-Lavardin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vernie in the north and north-west, Assé-le-Riboul in the north and north-east, Le Tronchet in the north-east, Saint-Jean-d'Assé in the east, and Saint-Sabine-sur-Longève in the east and southeast, Domfront-en-Champagne in the south, Conlie in the south and southwest and Neuvillalais in the west.
