Semur-en-Vallon is a French municipality with 447 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Mamers and the Canton of Saint-Calais (until 2015: Canton Vibraye ). The inhabitants are called Semurois .

geography

Semur-en-Vallon is about 38 kilometers east of Le Mans on the banks of the small river Longuève . Semur-en-Vallon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lavaré in the north, Vibraye in the east and northeast, Berfay in the southeast, Conflans-sur-Anille and Montaillé in the south, Condrecieux in the south and southwest and Dollon in the west.
