Tresson is a French municipality with 466 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Saint-Calais (until 2015: canton of Bouloire ). The inhabitants are called Tressonais .
geography
Tresson is located about 25 kilometers east-northeast of Le Mans on the small river Étangsort . Tresson is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Maisoncelles in the north,
- Val d'Étangson with Évaillé in the east and Sainte-Osmane in the southeast,
- Montreuil-le-Henri in the south,
- Villaines-sous-Lucé to the west and south-west,
- Saint-Mars-de-Locquenay in the north-west.
