Jordan Tresson

Jordan Tresson (born April 30, 1988 in Villars-la-Montagne ) is a French racing driver .

Career

Tresson got into professional motorsport via GT Academy , an elimination match between Nissan and Sony that began with races on the PlayStation . In 2008 he took part in the first edition of the competition, but failed to qualify for the final. The next time the competition was hosted in 2010, Tresson won the GT Academy. He prevailed against 1.2 million participants.

In 2010 Tresson received a cockpit in the GT4 European Cup at RJN Motorsport . He started every race and finished fourth overall. In 2011 Tresson stayed with RJN Motorsport and switched to the Blancpain Endurance Series . Together with his team mates Alex Buncombe and Christopher Ward , he once won the GT4 classification. The three drivers won the GT4 drivers' championship. He also went to a race in the GT4 European Cup.

In 2014 Tresson received a cockpit in the newly founded FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at Signatech . His teammates were Olivier Lombard and Franck Mailleux . As part of the world championship, he also made his debut at the Le Mans 24-hour race in 2012 . In this they reached the 14th place in the world championship ranking and 16th place in the overall classification. Her best result of the entire season was a seventh place. The driver trio finished 32nd in the drivers' world championship. At the end of 2012 Nissan stopped promoting Tressons and he temporarily ended his professional motorsport career.

Since 2014 he has participated in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring as well as in individual races of the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring .
