The World Endurance Championship in 2014 (officially 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship ) was the third season of FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The season consisted of eight races. It started on April 20th at Silverstone and ended on November 30th in Interlagos.
For the World Endurance Drivers' Championship , all drivers are eligible for a Le Mans prototype . The points are awarded according to the following system. In addition, there is a bonus point for drivers who are on pole position in the LMP class. All vehicles that were evaluated receive 0.50 points. At the highlight of the season, the Le Mans 24-hour race, double points are awarded.
