In the following three years he was used as a works driver for Subaru in the World Rally Championship . He finished the 2004 season with eight points in eleventh place in 2005 with six points in 17th place and 2006 six points on place 18. After the sporadic appearances for Aston Martin Racing at the 12 Hours of Sebring , the 24- At the Le Mans Hours and the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours in 2005, he switched to the American Le Mans Series for the 2006 season . In the ten championship races he shared the cockpit with Pedro Lamy in nine races . With three class wins, Sarrazin ended the season as runner-up in the GT1. He also took part in the Le Mans 24-hour race again and finished the race in fifth place in the GT1 class.

In 2007 he signed a contract with Peugeot as a works driver in the Le Mans Series . Together with Pedro Lamy, he won the endurance championship and won three of six championship races. In Le Mans, he celebrated his greatest success to date at the Sarthe with second place overall in the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP, together with Pedro Lamy and Sébastien Bourdais . In 2008, the second season at Peugeot followed. Despite winning two championship races, Sarrazin could not improve on the previous year's result and finished in fifth place overall. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 he started at the Monte Carlo Rally , where he finished third overall with a Peugeot 207 S2000 in 2009 and fourth in each of the following two years.

Formula E.

In 2014 Sarrazin returned to formula racing and drove the first season of the FIA Formula E Championship for Venturi . In the first race, the Beijing ePrix , he scored points in ninth place. In the last race in London , Sarrazin led the race from pole position after adjusting for pit stops and was the first to cross the finish line. Due to excessive energy consumption, however, he received a drive-through penalty, which was converted into a time penalty and he fell back to 15th place. Sarrazin finished 14th in the drivers' championship. In 2015/16 , Sarrazin completed his second Formula E season for Venturi. He finished second in the Long Beach ePrix . Sarrazin was the only driver to make it into the top 10 in every race and finished the season in sixth place overall.

In the FIA Formula E Championship 2016/17 , Sarrazin stayed with Venturi, where successes initially remained rare: he only achieved two points before the Paris ePrix . Before the Berlin ePrix , however, he switched to Techeetah , where he came third twice by the end of the season.

For the following season he initially received no cockpit, but jumped in for Tom Blomqvist from the Berlin E-Prix at Andretti . At the end of the season he was in 22nd place overall.
