The FIA - World Rally Championship in 2005 was in January 21, Monte Carlo started and ended on 13 November in Australia . A total of 16 world championship races were held on four continents. Sébastien Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena became world champion for the second time . The Citroën Total World Rally Team won its third title in the Manufacturers' World Championship this season .
