Toni Gardemeister (born March 31, 1975 in Kouvola ) is a Finnish rally driver.

Career

From 1998 Gardemeister drove in the rally world championship . In 2001 he drove his first full season in a Peugeot 206. From 2002 to 2004 he competed for Škoda and scored a few points. For the 2005 season he switched to Ford and was briefly the championship leader after the Rally Sweden . Ford team boss Malcolm Wilson signed the Finns Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen for 2006 . As a result, Gardemeister had to look for a different cockpit. In 2006 and 2007 he drove a number of rallies for the Astra team on a Citroën Xsara. For the 2008 season he moved to the newly established Suzuki World Rally Team. In 2011 Gardemeister starts in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge .

Gardemeister has not yet won a world championship run.
