Rally Australia

The Rally Australia is a round of the FIA World Rally Championship . It was held from 1988 to 2006 near Perth in Western Australia . In 2009, the rally took place in the region Northern Rivers in NSW instead and 2011 in Coffs Harbor .
The rally takes place on fast gravel roads mainly through forests and the outback .
The Rally Australia was named Rally of the Year three times (1995, 1999 and 2000) by the FIA .
