The 2017 World Rally Championship was the 45th FIA World Rally Championship. It lasted from January 19th to November 19th. Due to a change in the regulations, the cars were a lot faster than in previous years. After Volkswagen withdrew, the manufacturers moved closer together. Toyota returned to the WRC this year . This was evident in the first four rallies of the year. All brands that were registered in the WRC were able to achieve a victory each. Ford won the Monte Carlo rally, Toyota won the Sweden rally, Citroën won the Mexico rally and Hyundai won the Corsica rally.
