Stéphane Lefebvre (born March 16, 1992 in Noeux-les-Mines ) is a French rally driver. He is the first rally driver to win the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) and the Junior European Rally Championship (JERC) in the same year (2014) . The nine-time rally world champion Sébastien Loeb supports his compatriot in planning his career.
Stéphane Lefebvre made his debut in 2010 in the Twingo R2 Trophy , where he impressed with podium places and a win. In 2011 and 2012 Lefebvre took part in various national and international championships. From 2011, Thomas Dubois sat in the passenger seat of the Peugeot 207 and accompanied him until the 2014 season . In 2012, the duo won the Rallye du Touguet and they finished second overall in the French Junior Trophy as Peugeot Rally Academy drivers . In 2013, he ran in the European Rally Championship (ERC) with a Peugeot 208 R2 . In the Volant Peugeot series , Lefebvre took fifth place with a car from last year. Lefebvre achieved his greatest success in 2014 when he won the WRC3 and the JWRC series . With victories at the Rally Portugal , Poland and Germany , he finished first in the WRC3 with a Citroën DS 3 R3T.
The year 2015 started successfully for Lefebvre with a victory in the Monte Carlo Rally , in the WRC2 . His co-driver Thomas Dubois resigned for family and professional reasons. Stéphane Prévot is new to the passenger seat of the Citroën DS3 R5 . At the Rallye Deutschland , Lefebvre started for the first time in the highest rally class, WRC, with a Citroën DS3 WRC from the factory team. With a second place in a special stage and a tenth place overall, Lefebvre impressed on his debut.
