Henning Solberg (Ford) dropped out of the top ten due to a puncture in SS 7 and was classified in 13th place in the evening.
3rd day (Friday, February 7th)
In the eighth special stage, the leader Ogier slipped off the road and got stuck in the snow. The reigning world champion lost around four minutes in this mishap. Mikkelsen and Latvala fought for the lead. Latvala took over the lead in the overall classification in the tenth special stage and did not give it up until the evening. Guest starter Henning Solberg won the 11th special stage and thus the first since the Rally Portugal 2009. Robert Kubica slipped twice from the lane and got stuck in the snow. The Ford Fiesta driver lost over twenty minutes on the top.
4th day (Saturday, February 8th)
Hyundai had a difficult third day and retired with both cars on Friday due to technical problems. Neuville and Hänninen were able to start again on Saturday thanks to the Rally 2 regulations . Mikkelsen (VW) hardly made any mistakes but Latvala (VW) kept the upper hand and won the Rally Sweden. Østberg (Citroën) had a solid performance over the days and finished third. Østberg only had to be angry on Friday when Kubica blocked him after a ride. Three additional world championship points for winning the Power Stage went to Østberg, two to Latvala and one to Hirvonen, who finished fourth as the best Ford driver. Ogier finished sixth and last overtook Solberg.
