Jari Ketomaa (born April 18, 1979 in Mikkeli ) is a Finnish rally driver .

Career

As a former kart driver , Ketomaa started rallying in 1995 . At the Rally Finland 2000 he made his debut in a Subaru Impreza 555 in the World Rally Championship (WRC) and until 2007 only took part in individual WRC rallies. He won Group N of the Finnish Rally Championship in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 , he completed the entire season in the WRC (P-WRC) production classification in a Subaru Impreza STi N14 . He finished the season in third place in the P-WRC classification .

In 2009 he again won Group N of the Finnish Rally Championship. He also took part in the Finland Rally in a Subaru Impreza WRC and in seventh scored his first points in the WRC, which he finished in 17th place. In 2010 he took part in the Super 2000 class of the S-WRC with a Ford Fiesta S2000 and came fourth.

Ketomaa drove two rallies in 2011 , he was eliminated from both races. In 2012 he took part in three rallies with the best result in Finland as eighth. In 2013 he achieved the best result in Finland again with seventh place. For the first time he drove for the Dmack team, which also signed him for the coming year. Ketomaa finished in the top ten for the entire 2014 season , but only scored a world championship point in the Rally Portugal . Driven in parallel, he won the Rally Great Britain in WRC2 and came second five times. In the WRC2 final , Ketomaa was runner-up with 115 points.
