Harri Rovanperä (* 1966 in Jyväskylä ) is a Finnish rally driver who competed in the World Rally Championship (WRC) from 1993 to 2006 .

Career

In 1995 he won the Finnish Group A rally championship . After he repeatedly during the Rally Finland at the World Rally Championship had participated (WRC), it was in 1997 by Seat contracted. In 2001 he moved to Peugeot and achieved his first and only victory in the WRC with a win at the Rally Sweden . He also won the Race of Champions that year . Rovanperä stayed with Peugeot until 2004 and then started in a Mitsubishi in 2005 and in a Škoda in 2006 . In 2007 he competed in the Finnish Rallycross Championship.

His son is the rally driver Kalle Rovanperä (* 2000).
