The World Endurance Championship in 2017 (officially 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship ) was the sixth season of FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The season consisted of nine races. It began on April 16th at Silverstone and ended on November 18th in as-Sachir .

The 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship included nine races. There was no change to the preseason calendar.
Ratings
LMP driver world championship
All drivers in a Le Mans prototype are eligible for the LMP Drivers Championship ( LMP FIA World Endurance Drivers Championship ) . The points are awarded according to the following system. In addition, there is a bonus point for drivers who are on pole position in the LMP class. All vehicles that are evaluated receive 0.5 points. At the highlight of the season, the Le Mans 24-hour race, double points are awarded.
