Marvin service
Marvin Christopher Dienst (born February 24, 1997 in Worms ) is a German racing driver . He became German Formula 4 champion in 2015 .
Career
Dienst began his motorsport career in karting in 2005 , where he remained active until 2011. In 2012 he changed service and initially took part in the Formula BMW Talent Cup , a training competition, and won it.
In 2013 , he entered professional formula racing. At Neuhauser Racing he received a cockpit for the ADAC Formula Masters . Dienst achieved eight podium finishes, including his first win on the Slovakiaring . He finished his debut season in fifth place and was internally defeated by Nicolas Beer , who was fourth. In 2014 Dienst completed his second ADAC Formula Masters season for the ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg eV team supported by Mücke Motorsport . He won three races and made it onto the podium seven times. He improved to fourth championship rank. He became the second best driver in his racing team behind Maximilian Günther .
In 2015 Dienst switched to the German Formula 4 championship , which replaced the ADAC Formula Masters. He got a cockpit with the HTP Junior Team . He won the season opener in Oschersleben and thus became the first winner of a race in the German Formula 4 championship. He also won the second race on the track. He also achieved two victories at the Nürburgring and Sachsenring . He won another race at the Lausitzring . At the end of the season in Hockenheim , he won the first race. This means that Dienst was the first champion of the German Formula 4 championship. With 347 to 299 points, he finally prevailed against Joel Eriksson . In addition, Dienst made a guest start in the European Formula 3 championship for ArtLine Engineering in 2015 .
In 2016 he drove in the GT3 sports car series ADAC GT Masters for the bigFM Racing Team Schütz Motorsport . In the penultimate race at Hockenheim he was able to achieve a podium finish for the first time. Overall, he scored 51 points, was 14th in the drivers' classification and fifth in the junior classification.
In 2017 he drove at the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGTE Am class for Dempsey-Proton Racing . He also made a guest appearance for Craft-Bamboo Racing at the Blancpain GT Series Asia in Shanghai . There he finished race 1 in 6th place and won race 2 with his teammate Darryl O'Young . This was their first victory with Porsche in the GT3 class.
In 2018 he drove at the European Le Mans Series in the GTE class for Proton Competition . He also made two guest starts at the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring .
In 2019 he will be competing again in the GT3 sports car series ADAC GT Masters .
