The German Formula 4 championship 2015 (officially ADAC F4 Germany certified by FIA powered by Abarth 2015 ) was the first season of the German Formula 4 championship . The championship took place in Germany , Belgium and Austria , there were 24 races over eight weekends. The season began on April 25th in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and ended on October 4th at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg . Marvin Dienst won the drivers' championship title, David Beckmann won the rookie title .
It was the first season of an FIA-certified Formula 4 championship in the participating countries. The German Formula 4 championship replaced the ADAC Formula Masters .
Teams and drivers
All teams and drivers used the Tatuus F4-T014 chassis . The Abarth 1.4 liter T-Jet was used as the engine. The tires were from Pirelli .

Racing calendar
Locations of the racetracks
The racing calendar was published on December 12, 2014. There were eight events on seven routes. There were three races each. Seven races took place together with the ADAC GT Masters . The second event in Oschersleben was part of the DTM supporting program .
Rating
As participants in an FIA-certified Formula 4 championship, the first five drivers in the championship received points for a super license according to the 10-7-5-2-1 scheme. All drivers who completed at least 20 races could have their participation in this season counted towards the experience criterion for acquiring the super license.
Point system
In each race, the first ten of the race got 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point (s) respectively. There were no points for pole position or the fastest race lap.
