British Formula 4 Championship 2015
The British Formula 4 Championship 2015 (officially MSA Formula certified by FIA powered by Ford EcoBoost 2015 ) was the first season of the British Formula 4 Championship . There were 30 races. The season started on April 4th at Brands Hatch and ended on October 11th at this track. Lando Norris won the drivers championship.
It was the first season of an FIA-certified Formula 4 championship in the UK . The British Formula 4 Championship replaced the British Formula Ford .
Starting field
All teams and drivers used Mygale chassis . The Ford 1.6-liter EcoBoost was used as the engine. The tires were from Hankook .

Racing calendar
There were ten events on nine routes. There were three races each. All races took place on ToCA weekends, including the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
Rating
As participants in an FIA-certified Formula 4 championship, the first seven drivers of the championship received points for a super license according to the scheme 12-10-7-5-3-2-1. All drivers who completed at least 24 races could have their participation in this season counted towards the experience criterion for acquiring the super license.

The points were awarded to the first ten drivers according to the usual FIA system. In addition, all other drivers who are rated received a point.
The fastest driver in qualifying received five bonus points for pole position for the first race. There was also a bonus point for the fastest lap in the race.
