Benjamin Bailly
Benjamin Bailly (born May 22, 1990 in Liège ) is a former Belgian racing driver .
Career
Bailly began his motorsport career in karting in 2004 , where he was active until 2008. He also in 2008 when two races of Western Europe was Formula Renault debut in Formula racing . In 2009 he switched completely to formula racing and competed in the Formul'Academy Euro Series . He won six out of 14 races and immediately secured the championship title with another five podium finishes. In 2010 , Bailly moved to the FIA Formula 2 Championship . At his home race in Zolder , he achieved his first Formula 2 victory in the eighth race. He finished the season in seventh place overall.
In 2011 , Bailly found no involvement in formula racing. He competed in GT racing in the Blancpain Endurance Series for VDS Racing Adventures . He finished 21st in the GT3 Gentlemen Trophy . He also competed in the Radical European Masters in 2011 , in which he reached 17th place in the Masters ranking. In 2012, Bailly took part in two Alpine Formula Renault races for RC Formula in formula racing. In addition, he reached the 24th place in the master class of the Radical European Masters. In 2013, Bailly competed for RC Formula for the entire season in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup . He remained without points and finished 28th in the drivers' championship.
In 2013 and 2014 Bailly was again active in karting. He became world kart champion in the KWC class. In addition, he took part in popular sports races. In 2015 , Bailly took part in an event of the German Formula 4 championship and scored points.
