Ralf Aron

Ralf Aron (born March 21, 1998 ) is an Estonian racing driver . He won the Italian Formula 4 championship in 2015 . He has been competing in the European Formula 3 championship since 2016 . His younger brother Paul is also a racing driver.

Career

Aron began his motorsport career in karting , in which he was active until 2013. In 2010 and 2012 he won junior championships in Estonia. 2014 changed Aron in the single-seater racing and was a cockpit in the Scuderia Nordica , for which he in two Formula Renault -1.6 championships started. In the Northern European he was second with two wins, in the Nordic with five wins sixth. In November he competed for the Prema Powerteam at a Formula 4 individual event in Italy and won a race in the process. For the 2015 season of the Italian Formula 4 championship , Aron received a cockpit with the Prema Powerteam. He won nine races and won the championship. With 331 to 223 points he prevailed against his teammate Zhou Guanyu . In addition, Aron competed for the Prema Powerteam at four events in the German Formula 4 championship . He achieved a victory and was ninth in the drivers' championship.

In 2016 Aron stayed with Prema Powerteam and switched to the European Formula 3 championship . While his teammate Lance Stroll won the championship, Aron achieved seventh place in the overall standings with one win. In 2017 Aron competed again in the European Formula 3 championship, but switched to HitechGP . His best results were two third places. In the overall standings, he was ninth. In 2018 he moved to Prema Theodore Racing within the championship .
