Marino Sato
Marino Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 万 璃 音 , Satō Marino ; born May 12, 1999 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese racing car driver . He has been competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship since 2019 .
Career
Sato began his motorsport career in karting in 2011 , where he remained active until 2014. In 2015 he switched to formula racing and competed for Vincenzo Sospiri Racing in the Italian Formula 4 championship . With a second place as the best result, he was tenth overall. In 2016 , Sato stayed with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing in the Italian Formula 4 championship. He won a race and finished 18th in the drivers' championship.
In 2017 Sato moved to Motopark in the European Formula 3 championship .
He has been competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship since 2019 .
