The 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship was the third season of the FIA Formula 2 Championship as an FIA Championship and the fifteenth season of the racing series (including the years as a GP2 series ) as a whole. It comprised a total of 24 races and rose from March 30th to December 1st. Nyck de Vries won the drivers' championship with 266 points, DAMS won the team championship for the first time.

The season was overshadowed by the death of Frenchman Anthoine Hubert at the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps ; The American Juan Manuel Correa was also involved in the fatal accident . Correa survived with multiple leg injuries and a minor spinal injury and has been in rehabilitation ever since. Hubert is the first to be killed in the Formula 2 class since Henry Surtees in 2009.
