The Stage & Musical School Frankfurt was a state-recognized musical and drama school in Frankfurt am Main .

history

The school was founded in 1976 by Ellen Gurinov. After only musicals and dance were offered at first, drama was added as a further focus in 1989. In 2001, training as a musical actor was recognized by the state, as was training as an actor at the school. Since then, the Stage & Musical School Frankfurt has produced many stage artists; among others Helene Fischer , who graduated here in 2003 as a state-recognized musical actress. Over the years, the Stage & Musical School Frankfurt has grown and was based on Hanauer Landstrasse. From January 1, 2016 Corina Gerota was the owner and took over the artistic direction.

At the end of the 2017/18 school year, the school ceased operations.
