The German Formula 4 Championship 2017 (officially ADAC F4 Germany certified by FIA powered by Abarth 2017 ) was the third season of the German Formula 4 Championship . The championship took place in Germany and Austria . There were 21 races over seven weekends, the season began on April 29th in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and ended on September 24th at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg .

Teams and drivers

All teams and drivers used the Tatuus F4-T014 chassis . The Abarth 1.4 liter T-Jet was used as the engine. The tires were from Pirelli .

In each race, the first ten of the race got 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point (s) respectively. There were no points for pole position or the fastest race lap. Guest starters were not considered in the driver standings.

Only half points were awarded for the second race at the Nürburgring because the race was stopped after seven laps.

Remarks

• Artem Petrov and Enzo Fittipaldi took part in races 13–15 (Nürburgring) as guest drivers, so neither of them received any championship points.
• The results of the US Racing drivers at the Lausitzring were subsequently withdrawn. The appeal against the exclusion was rejected by the DMSB sports court on September 20, 2017.
