Léo Roussel (born August 31, 1995 in Marcoussis ) is a French racing car driver .

Career in motorsport

Léo Roussel is the nephew of Patrice Roussel and was one of the youngest debutants in the long history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014 at the age of 19 . He started his career in karting and drove his first monopostor race in 2013 . After an unsuccessful year in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup , he switched to sports car racing in 2014 .

He has been a driver for Pegasus Racing since 2014 and competes for the team in the European Le Mans Series . After his debut at Le Mans in 2014, he was also at the start of this 24-hour race in the following two years . The best placement so far was 18th place overall in the debut race in 2014.
