Ricky Taylor
Ricky Taylor (born August 3, 1989 ) is an American racing car driver .

Ricky Taylor is the son of Wayne Taylor and came in the English county of Surrey to the world. His father, born in Port Elizabeth , South Africa , later became a US citizen. Wayne Taylor, who runs his own racing team, was a successful sports car driver in the 1980s and 1990s. Twice, in 1996 and 2005 , he won the Daytona 24-hour race and the Sebring 12-hour race in 1996 . His younger brother Jordan also took up the profession of a racing car driver.
Racing career
Ricky Taylor began his career in karting and went into monoposto racing in 2006 . He won the overall ranking of the Skip Barber Southern Regional Series in 2007 and was runner-up overall in the national Skip Barber Series that same year .
In 2008 , with the debut at the Daytona 24-hour race, the company switched to sports car racing . The race at Daytona International Speedway ended with father, brother, Max Angelelli and Michael Valiante as partners in fifth place overall. His first success in a sports car race he celebrated in the Rolex Sports Car Series 2010 counted 2.45-hour race at Lime Rock . He finished third overall in the championship standings. In 2011 he was runner-up in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series .
In 2013 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in 2014 at the 12 Hours of Sebring , where he finished second overall in 2015 . In 2017 he won the Daytona 24-hour race together with his brother Jordan, Max Angelelli and Jeff Gordon . A few weeks later, he was also victorious in the Sebring 12-hour race .
