Patrick Bornhauser

Patrick Bornhauser (born June 29, 1957 in Orléans ) is a French entrepreneur and racing car driver .
Entrepreneur
In 1986, Patrick Bornhauser became CEO of Demeco , a moving company with 275 locations in Europe. With 1,800 vehicles, more than 100,000 removals for individuals, families, and commercial and industrial companies are carried out every year. In 2003 he and his industrial holding company took over the majority stake in Demeco.
Career in motorsport
Bornhauser began his racing career in 1994 in the French Peugeot 905 Spider Cup , where he finished fifth overall in the championship behind William David , Cathy Muller , Gérard Dillmann and Patrick Gonin . At the end of the 1990s he became a regular participant in the French GT championship. 2004 (on a Chrysler Viper GTS-R in front of Bruno Besson , David Hallyday and Olivier Thévenin ), 2005 (Chrysler Viper GTS-R), 2008 (together with Christophe Bouchut on a Saleen S7R ) and 2010 (with Laurent Groppi in a Porsche 911 GT3 R ) he won the overall championship. He became one of the most successful racing drivers in this racing series.
Bornhauser was also successful in international GT racing. Twice, in 2011 and 2012 , he won the GTE-Am class at the Le Mans 24-hour race .
