Gregor Fisken (born September 28, 1964 in Forfar ) is a British entrepreneur and former racing driver .

Entrepreneur

Gregor Fisken trained as a mechanic and in the early 1980s worked for Bunty Scott-Moncrieff, a well-known Scottish restorer and dealer of automobiles built before the Second World War . In the late 1980s he worked in sales for a historic vehicle dealer and founded his own company in 1996. Fiskens , based in the London borough of Kensington , sells exclusive and very expensive automobiles and racing vehicles.

Racing career

Gregor Fisken was active as a professional racing driver between 1998 and 2013. He began his career in the British GT championship and, from 2000, mainly competed in international sports car races such as the Daytona 24-hour race , the Sebring 12-hour race and the Le Mans 24-hour race . 2006 and 2007 were the two most intense seasons in sports car racing . In 2006 he was a member of the Courage racing team and, together with Jean-Marc Gounon and Alexander Frei, finished fifth overall in the 1000 km race in Donington . The following year he drove the Aston Martin DBR9 of Larbre Compétition in the European Le Mans Series . The best result of the season was sixth place in the Mil Milhas Brasileiras .

He contested the Le Mans 24-hour race four times. In 2004 he made his debut and achieved 18th place in the end, his best result in this 24-hour race . He also achieved this placement in 2004 in Sebring.

Even during his time as a professional racing driver, which lasted until the end of the 2013 season, Fisken competed in races with historic racing vehicles and is still active in this form of motorsport.
