Jean-Luc Blanchemain

Jean-Luc Blanchemain (born March 22, 1957 in Negraville ) is a French racing driver .

Career

Jean-Luc Blanechmain came to motorsport relatively late. He was already over 40 when he started racing in the French GT Championship in the early 2000s . In 2003 he celebrated three race wins on a Chrysler Viper GTS-R and finished second overall in the championship at the end of the year. In 2004 the entry into sports car racing followed . In the American Le Mans Series he became a works driver at Panoz and made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the US team's GT car . At the same time, he continued to contest races in the GT championship in his home country and finished fourth in the final standings in 2004 and 2005.

His best place at Le Mans was 21st overall in 2008, driven by a Chevrolet Corvette C6.R owned by former French skier Luc Alphand .
