Yutaka Yamagishi

Yutaka Yamagishi ( Japanese 山 岸 大 , Yamagishi Yutaka ; born June 22, 1967 in Nagano , Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese racing car driver .

Career

Yutaka Yamagishi was active in the Japanese Super GT for more than 1½ decades . In addition, there were appearances in sports car races in his home country. He is currently driving in the European Le Mans Series . He competed five times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans . A finish was denied in the first four missions. He dropped out prematurely at all four starts. Whereby he could only do one lap in 2009 ; then the Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT had to be parked with an engine failure. In 2016 he started the race for the fifth time and finished 37th.
