The race

On the SuperSebring weekend 2019, two championship races took place on the raceway. As part of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2018/19 14 March that took place on Friday, 1,000-mile race at Sebring taking, Sébastien Buemi , Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso in the Toyota TS050 Hybrid won. The race was a particular challenge for 11 drivers as they took part in both.

Obstructed by heavy rain, the race started under yellow flags. Only after 40 minutes of racing did the lights turn green for the first time. A dry track was only available to the drivers after several hours of racing. The race ended after a total of five caution phases with the overall victory of Luís Felipe Derani , Eric Curran and Felipe Nasr in the Cadillac DPi-VR.The second-placed Cadillac of Renger van der Zande , Jordan Taylor and Matthieu Vaxivière lost in the initial phase after an unplanned pit stop due to an overheated pit stop Motors a full lap. By the end of the race, the three drivers almost made up for the deficit. The two of Joest Racing reported Mazda RT24-P had problems in the race. While Jonathan Bomarito had an accident in the car with the number 55 and was able to continue driving after a lengthy repair, the vehicle with the number 77 retired after an electrical defect.
