Spencer Pumpelly

Spencer Pumpelly (born December 28, 1974 in Mason Neck ) is an American racing car driver .

Racing career

Spencer Pumpelly has been active in US GT and sports car racing since the late 1990s . In the early 2000s he was a regular competitor in the GT classes of the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Sports Car Series . In 2011 and 2013 he finished second overall and in 2012 third overall in the GTC class of the American Le Mans Series.

By the middle of the 2018 season, Spence Pumpelly had competed in 205 races. He celebrated one overall and 18 class wins. He competed four times in the Le Mans 24-hour race and ten times in the Sebring 12-hour race . At Le Mans, his best placings in the final classification were 27th in 2012 and 2014 . In Sebring it was 17th place in 2005 .
