The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 25, 1946 in the Bislett Stadium in the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

With silver and bronze there were two medals for Sweden. European champion was the French Raphaël Pujazon , who surprisingly defeated the favored Swedes. Second place went to world record holder Erik Elmsäter . Bronze went to Tore Sjöstrand .
