Bryan Sellers
Bryan Sellers (born August 19, 1982 in Dayton ) is an American racing driver .
Racing career
Bryan Sellers began his karting career in 1994 . At the end of this phase, the World Karting Association won the Manufacturer's Cup in 1998 . This was followed by the path through the North American Monoposto junior series. In 2000 he was overall runner-up in the Formula Dodge National Championship and in 2002 championship winner of the FF2000 Zetec Championship . With a sixth final place behind Jon Fogarty , Ryan Dalziel , Danica Patrick , Andrew Ranger and Ronnie Bremer in the Atlantic Championship , the monoposto career ended in 2004.
From 2005 Sellers drove GT and sports car races . His favorite racing series were the American Le Mans - and the Grand-Am Sports Car Series . He has been driving in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship since 2014 . Between 2005 and 2015 he contested 137 races and celebrated six class wins. The best place in an overall classification was second place in the 2014 2.45-hour race in West Virginia with partner Wolf Henzler in a Porsche 991 RSR .
In 2005 he competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and since the same year eleven times in the 12 Hours of Sebring . The best place at the Sebring International Raceway was the 12th final place in 2015 . In 2018 he achieved a class victory.
