Bryce Miller (born July 26, 1982 in Honolulu ) is an American racing driver . He is the son of Paul Miller and nephew of his brother Kenper .

Racing career

Bryce Miller grew up in a motorsport environment. His father Paul drove sports car races and ran his own racing team with Paul Miller Racing . Uncle Kenper was also a racing driver and racing team owner. Kenper Miller finished third overall in the 1986 Le Mans 24-hour race in the Joest - Porsche 956 together with John Morton and George Follmer .

Bryce Miller started karting at the age of seven . By the age of 17 he won more than 60 karting races and was Grand National Karting Champion and East Coast Regional Karting Champion as a teenager . In 1998 he switched to monoposto racing and attended the University of Vermont alongside his racing activities . His first appearances were in 1998 in the Barber Dodge Pro Series and in 1999 in the F2000 National Championship . This championship, which Dan Wheldon won, he finished fifteenth. In 1999 he received an invitation from Porsche to take part in the elimination for the UPS Porsche Junior Team . It was not accepted into the support program for young drivers.

From the 2006 season, Bryce Miller only competed in GT and sports car races . He achieved his first successes with Farnbacher Racing . In 2007 he finished third in a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup in the final classification of the GT class of the Grand-Am Sports Car Series . In the following years he drove races in the American and European Le Mans Series , the International GT Open , the Blancpain Endurance Series and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship , where he finished second overall in the GTD class in 2014 .

He started twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race , but was not able to place in each case. At the 12-hour race at Sebring , the best positions in the final classification were 20th in 2013 and 2015 .
