Eng has been driving in the DTM for BMW since 2018 . He came on the podium for the first time in the third championship round at the Lausitzring . In the 2019 season, he won his first DTM victory in round four in Zolder, Belgium . He was also on the podium two more times. He finished the 2019 season in sixth place overall.
