Tor Graves , born Tor Sriachavanon , (born March 26, 1972 ) is a Thai racing car driver . He will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2012 .

Career

Graves began his motorsport career in formula racing in Great Britain under the name Tor Sriachavanon . In 1993 and 1994 he drove in the British Formula First, which he finished in seventh place in his second season. In 1995 he switched to the British Formula Renault . After finishing tenth overall in his first season, he scored positions 14, eleven and seven over the next three years. His last season he drove for Manor Motorsport . With Manor Motorsport, Sriachavanon moved to the British Formula 3 Championship in 1999 and finished twelfth in his debut season, while his teammate Marc Hynes won the championship. In 2000 he moved to Alan Docking Racing and finished the season as 17th in the drivers' championship.

After a year-long hiatus, he returned to Alan Docking Racing in the British Formula 3 Championship in 2002. He appeared from this season as Tor Graves . In the final accounts he was in 25th place. His teammate Robbie Kerr became champions. In 2003 Graves returned to Manor Motorsport. He remained without points and finished the season on the 30th. 2004 Graves switched to GP Racing in the Superfund Euro Formula 3000 . While his team mate Fabrizio del Monte was runner-up, Graves remained without points. Three eighth places were his best results. In the overall ranking he was 16.

In 2005 Graves switched to the 3000 Pro Series , the predecessor series of the International Formula Masters . Starting for the JVA team , he finished the season with third place as the best result and fifth overall. In 2006 he joined ADM Motorsport for the third race weekend in the racing series, which was now called F3000 International Master . With two fourth places as the best results, he was 13th in the drivers' standings. He also took part in a race in the Le Mans Series in the GT2 class. In 2007 , Graves competed for the JVA team in six of eight events in the racing series, which is now called International Formula Masters . With an eighth place as the only point placement, he was 30th in the ranking. In 2008 Graves started again for the JVA team. He remained without points and was 28th overall, while his teammate Josef Král won a race and finished the season in sixth place.

In the 2009/2010 season, Graves made his debut in the Le Mans prototype in the Sportscar Winter Series . In 2011 , Graves took part in two races of the Le Mans Series in the FLM class. In 2012 Graves received a permanent cockpit again. He competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) for a cooperation between Alan Docking Racing and Delta Motorsport . His teammates at the start of the season were Robbie Kerr and John Martin . Together with them, he finished twelfth in the drivers' world championship after the second race. For the third WEC race, the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans , Kerr was replaced by Jan Charouz .
