Khaled Al Qubaisi , also Chalid al-Kubaisi , Arabic خالد القبيسي, DMG Ḫālid al-Qubaisī , (born December 22, 1975 in Abu Dhabi ), is an Emirati racing car driver .

Career

Al Qubaisi has been active in international GT racing since the beginning of the 2010s . His greatest successes were the overall victories at the Dubai 24 Hours in 2012 and 2013; each driven out in the Black Falcon Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 and team mates Sean Edwards , Jeroen Bleekemolen and Thomas Jäger (2012) and Bernd Schneider (2013). In 2013 he also won the 12-hour race at Yas Marina .

He was also at the start three times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans , with the best placing in 2014 when he finished 19th in the overall standings.
