development
The JS P2 was built for the regulations of the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class. The Ligier JS P2 is the second self-built LMP2 from OnRoak, after the Morgan LMP2, which has been used by various private teams since 2012. The JS P2 is OnRoak's first closed LMP. The Ligier JS P2 made its debut in 2014 at the French endurance classic in Le Mans , after which the Ligier was used in the FIA World Endurance Championship , European Le Mans Series , Asian Le Mans Series and the United SportsCar Championship .
OnRoak originally planned to build an LMP1, but the plans were canceled and the focus was on building an LMP2 car. The car is designed for the LMP2 engines from Nissan, Judd and HPD (Honda). There is a downforce variant with a lot of downforce and one with little downforce for Le Mans.
