Michel Frey

Michel Frey (born November 26, 1973 in Aarau ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and racing driver .

Entrepreneur

Michel Frey founded several companies in Oberentfelden , Canton Aargau , which deal with real estate development and exploitation. These include Frey Group AG and Advanta Holding AG .

Racing career

Michel Frey began his racing career in 2000 in Formula 3 . In the exterriotial Swiss championship he was runner- up behind Jo Zeller .

The mid-2000s, he drove a few years in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and then moved with his own race team Race Performance in sports car racing . He competed with the team in the ADAC GT Masters and the European Le Mans Series . He had his best season in the Le Mans Series in 2011 when he finished sixth overall in the LMP2 class. Has competed four times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans . His best placement in the final ranking was 13th in 2014 . Driven out with Franck Mailleux and Jon Lancaster in the Oreca 03 .
