Marc Rostan

Marc Rostan (born November 30, 1963 in Paris ) is a French racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Marc Rostan began his monoposto career in 1990 in the French Formula 3 Championship . He was active in this racing formula for four years without any notable successes before moving to the International Formula 3000 Championship in 1994 . Rostan only contested a few races in this championship and ended its monoposto activities at the end of the 1996 season .

The Frenchman has been driving GT and sports car races since 1994. Between 1995 and 2012 he competed eleven times in the Le Mans 24-hour race . His best place in the overall ranking was 17th in 1999 . In 2004 and 2006 he was third overall in the LMP2 class of the European Le Mans Series .

Rostan is still active as a driver and has been driving selected races of the Blancpain Endurance Series for several years .
