Formula 3000 season 1996
The 1996 Formula 3000 season was the 12th Formula 3000 season . It began on May 11, 1996 at the Nürburgring and ended on October 12, 1996 in Hockenheim . A total of ten races were run. 1996 was the first season in which all teams used the same chassis, engines and tires. Jörg Müller won the drivers' championship title . Super Nova Racing won the championship title of the teams .
