1995 Formula 3000 season
The 1995 Formula 3000 season was the 11th Formula 3000 season . It began on May 7, 1995 in Silverstone and ended on October 15, 1995 in Magny-Cours . A total of eight races were run. 1995 was the last season in which the teams were allowed to use different chassis and engines. The drivers 'championship title was won by Vincenzo Sospiri , whose Super Nova Racing team won the teams' championship title. The last race of the season in Magny-Cours was overshadowed by the fatal accident of the Brazilian Marco Campos . It was the first and only fatal accident in Formula 3000 history.
