Christian Pescatori

Christian Pescatori (born December 1, 1971 in Brescia ) is a former Italian racing driver .

Career

Christian Pescatori began his career in karting and became champion in the Italian Formula 3 championship in 1993 . In the mid-1990s, he switched to Formula 3000 .

But he celebrated his greatest successes in the sports car. In 1997 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans . In 2001 he became a works driver at Audi and achieved second place in the overall standings at Le Mans in 2001 and 2002. In 2002 he won together with Rinaldo Capello and Johnny Herbert , the 12-hour race at Sebring . In 2005 he secured the GTS classification in the Le Mans Series . He also won together with David Terrien , the 2: 30-hour race at the Nurburgring 2000 .
