Philippe Haezebrouck

Philippe Haezebrouck (born November 7, 1954 in Reims ) is a French entrepreneur and racing driver .
Racing career
Philippe Haezebrouck became known as a touring and sports car driver . He drove for many years in the French touring car championship and in the 1980s also some races in the European touring car championship . In 2001 he made his debut for Freisinger Motorsport at the 24 Hours of Le Mans . Teammates in the Porsche 996 GT3 RS were Gunnar Jeannette and Romain Dumas . The trio achieved seventh place in the overall standings and, behind Gabrio Rosa / Fabio Babini / Luca Drudi (also in the Porsche 996 GT3 RS), second place in the GT class.
Haezebrouck's career began in 1978 and lasted 3 decades. During this time he competed in Le Mans five times, the last time in 2013 . He was a regular starter in the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race with fourth place in 1986 as the best result.
