Gabrio Rosa

Gabrio Rosa (born October 15, 1954 in Bergamo ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Gabrio Rosa was best known as a sports car driver . He drove for many years in the Italian GT Championship and celebrated his first international success in 1999 with victory in the 6-hour race in Vallelunga . In 2000 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans , where he celebrated a surprising success the following year with a sixth place overall in a GT2- Porsche 996 GT3 RS . After several seasons in the Le Mans Series and the International GT Open , he moved to the USA in 2010, where he competes in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series .
