Luca Drudi

Luca Drudi (born May 11, 1962 in Rimini ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Luca Drudi began his career in 1987 in the Italian Formula 3 championship , which he left after only one race and then regularly competed in the Renault Clio International Cup for several years .

Drudi became internationally known in the late 1990s for his involvement in GT racing . From 1997 he drove in the FIA GT Championship and made his debut at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1998 with a class win . As a partner of Justin Bell and David Donohue , he achieved eleventh place in the overall standings on a Chrysler Viper GTS-R . 2001 belonged to the Porsche driver crew, which in Le Mans achieved sixth place in the overall standings with a Porsche 911 GT3 .

At the end of the 2000s Drudi went to the USA and has been driving in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series since 2008 .
