Gavin Pickering

Gavin Pickering (born February 19, 1980 in London ) is a British racing car driver .

Career in motorsport

Gavin Pickering was active in GT and sports car racing as a professional racing driver between 2000 and 2012 . He drove GT cars in the European and American Le Mans Series . His best placings were sixth places in the overall standings at the Estoril 1000 km race in 2001 and the Vallelunga 2.45 hour race in the same year . He competed six times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and three times in the 12 Hours of Sebring .

He has been racing in historic racing cars since 2013, including a Fittipaldi F8 in the historic Formula 1 championship in 2015 .
